SERGEANT FIRST CLASS DOMENIC D'AMBRA III, 30, of Mountaindale Road, Smithfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday 12 May 2012 at Fort Lewis, Steilacoom, Washington. He was the husband of Madelyn A. (Perla) D'Ambra. Born on 21 May 1981 in Providence, he was a son of Domenic D'Ambra Jr. of Smithfield and Dawn (Kiley) Ruscetta of Las Vegas, NV. Domenic enlisted in the US Army in June 1999. He successfully completed Ranger training and the Basic Airborne Course prior to completing the Special Forces Qualification Course in 2007. He was assigned to the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne). Besides his wife and parents he was the father of Anthony Murillo of NV, Alexia and Domenic D'Ambra IV of NY. Brother of Danielle D'Ambra of CA, Charles and Edward Peterson of Las Vegas, NV.
Domenic is buried in Saint Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston, RI; Section 35, lot 1097, grave 3.
